Can't type in the code builder

Hello so i teach with Minecraft education and one 2 of my MacBook airs i cannot type in the code editor instead of typing it just re-grabs the block and the python editor will not load and throws an error any advice ?

  Sorry to hear you are running into some issues with the code editor. 

  Do you have Macbook Airs where this does work on? 

  Has this worked prior?

  Which OS version are you on?

  so the program works i just can't type and it works on other MacBook airs i have in my classroom, i think it may need an update .every time i try to update the game it just re downloads the base  the computer with the issue is running v 10.14.6

  Hmm, you could try to download a new updated version if you back up all your worlds, uninstall that version then install the new one from here - Download | Minecraft Education
