Minecraft Education not responding on Chromebook
I have 2 Lenovo C213 Yoga Chromebooks that are experiencing non-stop error messages stating, "Minecraft Education isn't responding" with an option to close app or wait. Choosing wait allows you to keep using the app for a short time, then the message comes back. The app continues to work, but the frequency of the error messages renders it pretty much unusable. ChromeOS and Minecraft Education are both current and up-to-date, so I am running Minecraft Education version 1.20.13.0.
The error messages are semi-recent, and probably started around 2-3 months ago. I bought the Chromebooks in Dec 2022 and had no issues running Minecraft for the first 8-9 months.
Is there a way to downgrade Minecraft Education to an older version which was running fine, to see if the issue resolves?

Hey there,
Sorry to hear you are running into some issues.
We totally understand the need to have it function as it did previously. Unfortunately, there are no rollback options, as issues stemming from recent updates involve all players not being on the same version, so that would only perpetuate the issue. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for the patience on this.
Best,

Frazer Johnson, I would powerwash the chromebook. If it's enrolled in your districts management system, everything should be re-instaled.
Typically this fixes the vast majority of chromebook issues.0
