MAC Ventura issue
Has there been any progress made regarding the issues trying to use Minecraft Education with OS Ventura? It is very frustrating not to be able to run this properly.

Hi.
The app just hangs and even the text is blurry. We have tried the beta version and that doesn’t work either. What should be looking at on our network specifically?
Also, how are the others on Ventura running Minecraft, is there a particular version or some setting needed?

Other users found that some antivirus programs were causing the app to crash. On Ventura if a filter blocks the traffic, Minecraft Education crashes. The communication needs to be stable and will require some setting changes with the filters that are in place. The main thing is to review this article first: FAQ: IT Admin Guide – Minecraft Education and then if the issue is still occurring, run a network capture while you repo the issue. Use that scan to watch the traffic and try and isolate where the block is within your network.
