1.18.42 Fullscreen Problem (Mac)
Since updating to 1.18.42 on our iMac's we can't run Minecraft in fullscreen, when we try the screen flickers, flashes and black lines appear all over the screen. The only way to stop this is by coming out of fullscreen and stretching the window to be as large as possible. Had no issues until this update.

Thanks for posting this. My students had to update minecraft edu as the version on my laptop opened their world so the world was updated. When they all got the new version 1.18.42 it was super flickery as you mentioned. Trying your fix tomorrow.

Can't believe I'm saying this but 1 year on, v1.20.12 still has this bug. Pretty shocking
