As I said in my post - there is not issues with the laptops in our school. The issue only occurs on iPads.
Both are connected to the same network at school.
I found with this bug you can use the /clear command.
clear [player: target] [itemName: Item] [data: int] [maxCount: int]
So for the shield it would be something like /clear playername shield
Until this is easily implemented...for now:

Just to go further - it would be nice to see other Australian animals as well (Emu, Kangaroo, Crocodile, Possum, etc).
Please consider support for Chromebooks and Chrome OS (Neverware Cloudready would be a good start).
