    Hey there!

Sorry to hear, are you able to share a screenshot of the error (without any personal info)?

This is the screen once I begin screen sharing. It hangs on this. I have to force quit the app. Same result when using AirPlay to AppleTV and HDMI directly to the display.

I report the same issue on
HW: MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019), Processor 2,6 Ghz 6-core Intel Core i7, Memory 16 GB.

OS: macOS Monterey version 12.6 (21G115).

Seems it might be a bug.

On a macbook air (2015). Same issue. Running version 1.17.31 since we have firewall issues with 1.18.

One thing to try is to share the entire screen instead of the just the window. Also, if you have dual monitors, disconnect one to when sharing to see if this changes the issue at all.

I also have this issue while hosting my class. I'm using an m1 MacBook Pro, Sonoma 14.2. No crashes when I use just one screen. I have just been using screen mirroring in the Displays settings panel. Are there any fixes? My second monitor is a Promethean ActivPanel.

    Hey there,

Oh no! Sorry to hear. If you would like, I can make a ticket for you and we can continue the chat there?

If we do, it would be great if you could send us a video there of the issue occurring so we can learn more.

    Thanks for replying, Danny!

Unfortunately, I can't send a video because the freeze and crash happens reliably but at unpredictable times, and it also only seems to happen when I'm hosting for all my students... it's quite disruptive for the class! Could it be related to overtaxing the system in some way? The computer I'm working on is a 2020 MacBook Pro M1. Is there somewhere I can find logs that would be useful?

Please do make a ticket for me!

    Hey Michael,

Are you receiving the same screen as the above comments or is the game just completely crashing.
And Just to clarify, when you screen mirror with just one monitor, it works fine, but when you use 2 monitors the crashing occurs, correct?

Sorry, I wasn’t clear. Actually, I don’t get the same equalizer spectrograph image, the game just freezes and crashes. I can’t remember if all my students are kicked off, or if they just experience the freeze as well. And, this has only happened while screen mirroring to the promethean board. When I use only my MacBook screen, the game hasn’t crashed. This means I can’t provide coding tutorials to the class effectively because I can’t display my screen for them! I haven’t tried disabling my own MacBook screen and using just the large screen (I prefer to have the screen mirrored so I can look forward).

    Hey there Michael!

I will go ahead and make a ticket for us so you can send some screenshots over so we can understand the issue a bit better.

    See you over there!
