Have you tried the troubleshooting steps for this error in the article here?  https://educommunity.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/4404976926356-Troubleshoot-the-Can-t-Connect-to-the-Service-Error

I have a problem where I deleted minecraft edu without knowing it would delete all my worlds. Is there anywhere to get them back?

If you are on a Windows device, you can try using the feature called system restore. By using a restore point you can sometimes get files back. The only other way is to import the world from a backup if you exported it before it was deleted. I hope that helps.

https://educommunity.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/4404785703316-Location-of-World-Files  If your world files are still on the machine, you may be able to back them up if you know where they are.  then you may be able to take them to another device that has a working install of minecraft education edition in order to finish your work.

Everyone please, if you have put in some effort in a world, export it regularly so you can save the backup or be able to load the world onto another device or load it after a catastrophic crash of your regular device.  It is a good Idea to save a backup of important files to another location on a regular basis (like perhaps to your onedrive account.)
