Is Classroom Mode dead?
Since the update, Classroom Mode cannot connect to multiplayer worlds. Was this update the final nail in the coffin of Classroom Mode?

I am sorry to hear that classroom mode is not working. On August 9th we updated our services and in order to access our services uninterrupted, networks need to allow list a new URL. The new URL is https://*.minecraft-services.net/. If you don't know the process for allow listing in the network, you may need to work with your ISP for that procedure. Let me know if this helps or changes the issue.

The allow list doesn’t seem to be the issue as this is happening across multiple networks including my home network which does not have these restrictions.

I believe this issue is unrelated to the URL filtering issue.
The WebSocket specification has changed in Minecraft Education Edition v1.18.32, and as a result, Classroom Mode and Code Connection for Minecraft are no longer available.
We believe that this issue cannot be resolved until a version of Classroom Mode and Code Connection for Minecraft that supports the new WebSocket specification is released.
I am having a hard time managing my classroom and using teaching materials that utilize these features. Please release it as soon as possible.

I was able to find that this is a known issue with the Bedrock Edition. Classroom mode is not working as intended on 1.18. Our client build is based off of the Bedrock Edition client. We expect an update very soon to address it.

The Classroom mode, which can be downloaded from the following site, is v.1.82 for Windows and has been confirmed to work.

However, the macOS version seems to be still at v1.81. I expect it will be released shortly, but I would like to wait a little longer.
Where will the announcement about the release be made? Will it be posted on the above site?

Classroom mode wasn't working for Windows last week but seems to be sorted now 👍
