I can't login, no matter what I try
Whenever I try to login to Minecraft, a box comes up saying "Something went wrong. Try checking your internet connection." My computer is connected to my internet everytime and this box always comes up either way. I have tried to uninstall the game, reset the game, I even disconnected and reconnected to my internet to see if there was a change. Minecraft was working before on 08/04 but after that day, it stopped working. Please help.

Hey there!
Sorry youre running into some issues!
This error is usually caused by proxies, do you have any firewalls or such on the device?

Hi, Jucele Lee - How are things going? Any better?
We have PCs at our school which can use a network cable (LAN) or wifi. Sometimes I know they are on the internet, but I get this message on Minecraft. It happens rarely, and restarting can help. It happens more commonly on the iPads (on wifi.)
What seems to help (besides the obvious network restart stuff) also is making sure that other services like Office are logged in on the internet on the device. The login for Office and Teams (and when on the iPad, to the Appleid stuff) all seem to cause some timeouts or conflicts at times. Since Minecraft opens in the Maximized screen, you don't always see a popup from any message that occurs, saying something, like "a program wants you to click okay before you do anything else" (haha that's not the message, but that's the effect.) This would be like what Danny is referring to, a firewall, or a message from your antivirus needing an "okay."
Sorry to go on in a wall of text. It can be hard to fix this stuff. Let us know!
