Student Unable to Log In
I've started to use MC:EE again after a long absence - when students log in for the first time using their school accounts, they are shown the "free trial offer" page. I have them click "OK," then click "switch accounts" and then log in again - this seems to work, except for one student. Hers says that her free trial has expired and that she can either purchase a license or use the "demo" version.
No other students have this issue - This one student is able to log in correctly, but there's no way for her to get into the game. I asked her if she had played at home at all, and she said she did once, but I'm wondering if she attempted multiple logins and expired the free trial that way. Does anyone else ever encounter this problem?

Hello, Jordan Ullman - I'm glad to hear that your students are enjoying Minecraft Education Edition! Can you help me understand a little more clearly what is happening? I'd like to help!
Your students do not have paid licenses, and you are letting them use their ten free trial uses? I do this for many of my students as well. When students use their logins, it is a little tricky. I have to warn them carefully ahead of time. They can exit their world and go into another world, but they cannot exit the Minecraft App or it counts as one use. I have had students use up all of their uses in one sitting!
Perhaps another student has an email address this student can use who is not using Minecraft?

My school has Microsoft accounts for each student, so they are able to log in using their school accounts and can use Minecraft Education Edition as much as they want (which they love, btw). But what has been happening is that when students log in for the first time, even if they log in with their school accounts, they are taken to the "free trial" page. I tell them to click the "switch account" button, sign out, and then sign back in, which resolves the issue, except for this one student.
My only guess is that she repeatedly opened and closed the Minecraft program, which exhausted her 10 trials. But now she can't get to the screen where she can switch her account. I'm also wondering why the program doesn't recognize their logins the first time; but on the second login attempt, it does...

Hmm, maybe reset the account on the Microsoft Admin Portal. . . .
