    Interesting -- this is what I found -- could you explain more about what is incorrect? I don't recall all of my periodic table training from high school!

    Hello Mr. Sanders,

    Based on electron configuration, potassium should have 2 electrons in the first energy level (1s), 8 electrons in the second energy level (2s and 2p), 8 electrons in the third energy level (3s and 3p), and 1 electron in the fourth energy level (4s). However, in the MC:EE version, the electron that was suppose to be at the 4th energy level were placed on the third energy level (which would be 3d orbital, incorrect for potassium). See the atomic model below:

    All the elements prior to potassium are correct. However, starting from potassium on were all wrong.

    Ahhh, wow -- okay! Sounds like we have some work for the team. Thanks for looking into this. I do use the chemistry set quite a bit, but I don't often use the element constructor. Penny

    Thanks for reporting this Timothy Chang - unfortunately I just got confirmation that this is a known bug.  The good news is that you get a bug spotter badge!
