Hmmm, I have stayed away from too much changing EDU because it's not yet supported by the development team.

I apologize if I was misunderstood. I don't want to hack into anything. I simply use the same method others have used with success. There is proper Microsoft documentation as well as a com.mojang folder for M:EE that contains the development packs found in the respective Bedrock folders. I found the problem with the pack loading, I forgot to change the format_version in the dialogue folder, but the dialogue commands and buttons don't work. I'm curious if perhaps the developers didn't intend to let that feature through on M:EE and so blocked it after they noticed? I have included a link to another thread referencing this problem where the Minecraft Education Team asks for feedback and a screenshot of the development folders I found in my own M:EE. Your expert input would really be appreciated to help with this. I can't even seem to get my NPC farm to work, which is why I turned to this method. I can get everything I do to work on Bedrock but not M:EE. https://educommunity.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/community/posts/4407906965140-Feedback-Requested-NPC-Dialogue

You're chasing the correct pathways for this work, it's just that MCEdu is not reliably behaving with modifications like Bedrock and Java.

Ah ok. Thank you very much for that input. I understand that the development is different for each version so that makes good sense. I appreciate you taking the time to answer. Now I know! =D
