Marking Maps

I would love to have a way to mark maps.  I want to be able to make a treasure map type map to point students to a specific location where they then need to complete tasks to reach their endpoint.

I see on other versions banners are able to be used to mark points on a map. Is this something that could be added to Education Edition?
