Need help to understand.
Hi all,
I am a teacher from California. I teach elementary grades, but I still think Minecraft can be a very powerful tool to teach my students. I'm trying to understand how Minecraft for Education works, but I honestly don't get it. I don't understand how students will be able to connect with me in the world I create for them. I don't understand how to make the lesson for them, and I don't understand the security connotations of all this. Please, if someone would be kind enough to explain to me as if I were a fool.
My students are young, and they do not have personal emails. I wonder if they can join the game in some way.
Please, I would like to try Minecraft for education, but I am also encountering many technical difficulties in downloading the free version or classroom mode. If someone has the time and the desire to explain to me patiently, I would be very grateful.
Thanks a lot
Diana

Hi Diana Jara,
I would be happy to address all of your questions and help you explore how to leverage Minecraft in your classroom. A virtual in-service is probably the easiest way to do this.
If you would like, I can have one of the admins share our emails.

Hello, Dan,
I would love to connect with you. Please, if you can do it, that would be great! I assume my email is the same one I signed up for here, right? It is an email account that I do not use much, so that I will check it more often.
Thanks a lot!
