Hi Ben Jucius - thanks for reporting this.  This is a known issue with the 1.17 version of Bedrock.  There is a bug filed with the engineering team.

I have the same problem. I am a teacher and i want to 3d-print the objects my students create but i run into problems due to this bug.

Yep, same, this pretty much kills any ability to use the models in Augmented Reality or to import into PowerPoint. I have to take the model into Blender, delete the texture nodes and apply the standard Blender shader node to get it working.

    ADDED:
Just tested out the new 1.18 beta on MacOS and blocks are still missing from the export. This is extremely frustrating as it pretty much means that Minecraft is useless currently for my needs in the classroom.

    Hey Joshua,

What blocks are missing for you?

Also, is this related specifically to VR or 3d printing?

What export tool are you using, is it the Minecraft: Education Edition export tool?

    Thanks!

I’ve made another post about this issue. This is a very old issue that is yet to be fixed.
