    Hi Penny,

    I actually do have an MS 365 from my university, but paid for the 1 yr license through my personal hotmail account. This used to work earlier in the year, but I am now getting the same error as Ridham. Is it possible to transfer the license to my university account? Otherwise, it seems appropriate to grandfather in the personal account license, since this policy seems to have been enacted after I paid for the license.

    I'm sorry to hear that you are running into this login error.  This error indicates that you are logging in with a personal Microsoft account.    In order to access Minecraft: Education Edition, you'll need to have a Microsoft 365 school or business account.   You can use this school or business account to access a free trial of Minecraft: Education Edition, and you can always try out a demo lesson without logging in.  Read more:  Try Minecraft: Education Edition for free

    Hi My Info Ttt - there are a few extra steps you need to go through after you purchase the 1 year commercial license, including setting up the M365 account and assigning the license to it.  I'm going to open a ticket so we can look up your information and try to get you hooked back up to your account.
