UNESCO Global Build Challenge HELP

My students were working on this build challenge and the worlds were saved on the Chromebooks.  When they logged in today all their hard work is gone? The worlds are not there anymore.

  Hi Charlie-

  I'm sorry to hear that your students worlds were not on the Chromebooks.  A couple of questions:

  1. Are all of the students using the same devices they were working on previously?  All student work is saved to the local drive, and is only accessible when the student who created them logs onto that device.
  2. Do you know if your school system periodically wipes the devices?
  3. You can try to see if the world files are still there by following instructions on this document:  Location of World Files – Minecraft: Education Edition Support

  Hi there,

   

  Thanks for the reply.

  The students always use the same Chromebook.  They do not get wiped unless I ask for it.  Also I tried following those steps already and there in no games under play files.  I feel so bad for my students because they worked so hard om this.
