    We're currently investigating two issues with similar descriptions. One where Minecraft: Education Edition flashes when launched on some Chromebooks, and another where the screen goes black. Both of these issues are being investigated, and we'll update this post when we learn more.

    A mitigation for this is to run Minecraft: Education Edition in windowed (not full screen) mode.  Also, many users have reported that updating to the latest version of ChromeOS has fixed the issue for them.

    I had that same problem too. I think that it's a bug or a crash in the server.

    Yeah same that happened to me, whenever i tried to open MCEE it went black screen and after a few mins the log in thing pops up. I logged in and it went black again so yeah

    Sooooo I looked at Mc a while ago and noticed that my screen was black. And it was fine at first and it happened a while after it happened to my friend. Does anyone know how to fix it? :,)
