More Refined teacher control over player and operator permissions
I'm running into issues where I would like to have multiplayer group learning environment but the lack of refined control has caused me some challenges.
For instance, If I want to teach students how to use command blocks, I have to grant them operator status, and at that point, I have basically NO control over their permissions and they can then grant themselves worldbuilder or grant operator status to other students without my permission and there are no logs of the commands or who is running them.
I would also like to create a world where the students have to do things only using the agents, however, I don't see a way to enforce this.
I know there are java servers in existence where it is possible to grant varying levels of permissions to diffferent commands. It would be really helpful to teachers if something like this could be available to education edition.
It would also be great if some of the /op and /deop commands could be set to trigger in some way. Like I have a world where I want the students to be able to work with commands while they are in a certain volume but when they leave that volume they would be deop. But Alas OP commands can't be automated, an OP HAS to run them manually in real time.
I would really love an intermediate permission level that would allow students to use command blocks and work on game design but not be able to toggle their world builder status and therefor be able to destroy the demonstration sections of the world behind the border and deny blocks.
