We have Dell Chromebook 3100's that we are trying to open Minecraft:Education Edition on with our students. We have accessed it in the past with no problems. Our network team has whitelisted everything that is listed online. Students can open their accounts on M:EE installed in a Windows device. The student accounts also work on iMacs with M:EE installed.
Problem: Today, we had to power wash the Chromebooks in order to have M:EE open for students (not the beta, but the most recent Camps version).
Our tech team hypothesizes that we will need to power wash the Chromebooks every time Chrome OS updates. This is a weekly event in our district. It also means that we need to reinstall Google Play Store every time (which takes quite a bit of time).
Is this accurate? Or is there something else that we need to tweak so that students can access M:EE more reliably?
