Manch and Ryan, Debbie's recommendation to clear your cache sounds like a good first step. Steps are below.

Clear your cache inside Code Builder

Follow these steps to clear your cache inside code builder.

    1. From the code interface, select Settings by clicking the gear icon on the top bar/navigation
    2. Select Reset.

Clear your cache from your system files (PC Only)

Follow these steps to clear your cache from the system files of your Windows PC.

    1. Close Minecraft: Education Edition.
    2. Open File Explorer and navigate to C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp.
Note: “USERNAME” refers to the user account used to log in to the device, not the sign in for Minecraft: Education
    3. Locate the minecraftpe  folder
    4. Rename or delete the folder.
      Note: Alternatively you can
    5. Relaunch Minecraft: Education Edition. If Code Builder:
      • Launches, no further action needed.
      • Does not launch, contact the support team via the submit a request

If that does not do the trick, then please delete and re-download the world.

If you have tried the solutions in this article and are still having issues, contact the support team via the submit a request form and include this information:

    • Whether you're using a VPN or proxy, and if so, which brand.
    • Which device and OS version you’re using.
    • Which version of Minecraft: Education Edition you are using (bottom right corner of screen).
    • A screenshot of the error.
    • A network trace (if possible).

I have had the same issue when trying to load the code builder in coding fundamentals lesson 1. I have tried rebooting the computer, logging in on different computers, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, different wifi servers, but nothing seems to work. I was able to successfully use it last week with several students, however, this week any of my students loading lesson 1 are unable to do so. For those on lessons two and three the code builder loads just fine.

Here is a screenshot of the error code it gives me.

I am having the same issue - a fix would be great before I invest in 100 licenses

Laylah Bulman Do we have a fix in store for this problem?

Perhaps this thread holds a clue?

i feel like this could be an issue with your copy of the world, have you tried redownloading it?

Well, I tried the reset but it did not work.

Before the start of the problem-solving activities, the Code Builder is okay, same as the other use of Code Builder outside the Heist template.
