Building a replica of my school to give students a place to find out more about their new school before they join... it'll be a long journey, but I've learnt a lot of tips and tricks in creative building.... Structure blocks, Map art, commands, and much more. A fun project for sure!

Nice Matthew Smith!
I captured my old school in Minecraft as well. It's a great way of preserving the past.

Ready for the third week

Hey anybody else having problems opening the Modules??
0 -
Yes, I discovered they have moved the learning to a different portal.
I accessed it here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-gb/learn/paths/minecraft-teacher-academy/
I did find however that it made me do all the modules again despite being logged in with the same account.

Same here... I went to the main Microsoft Education Center and followed the links to the Minecraft Teacher Academy and it didn't save any of my progress...

Yes, it may have something to do with the Microsoft Learn and Educator center merge. You can find more information at this link: https://education.microsoft.com/en-us It has a video with some information as well. :)

Love seeing so many new ideas of how students actually move through the program and can use it individually or collaboratively. The build plates are new to me and I have not used them with students so I am excited to try them out.

Hi all.
Finding these sessions really useful, and although as a headteacher I don't have my own class, I've been inspired to start a Minecraft Club in January.

Great job on today's session! Your tip on turning the music down in Minecraft during class is really helpful. See you next meeting!

Hi - I part completed this academy but had to leave due to workload. If I want to bring in more teachers from my group of schools, where was the starting invite again - I can't remember! It's great to see so many great examples continue to be shared. Kind regards, John. United Endeavour Trust, UK.
