Default Permissions
I would like to make a world with default user permissions for the students as Visitor. I watched a video about it, but no longer see Default Permissions in the settings?
Was that removed with an update? Please add it back!
Also, would be really cool to have slash commands to set permissions with command blocks...

Ok, thanks probably bread. I knew I had seen it somewhere.
The problem is I already have a world but I’d like students to come in as visitors now... can that be changed after the world has been created?

Strange.

Did you ever figure this out Chris Fuge?

I just checked with the updated version and now see it right there. Thanks!

Hey, have been using your "mission mars" world with my students and noticed they were unable to use ender pearls. I have started making my own worlds and was wondering how you did this. Is it a permission thing or? Chris Fuge

I don't know the particular world you are talking about BUT... It is possible to set up a repeating command block to stop the use of ender pearls using a command like /kill @e[type=ender_pearl]

I thought they added it as a game setting in one of the recent updates. Another way would be to place a command block in the world and set it to repeat and always active. Then you could just add the command:
/clear @a ender_pearlThat should prevent them from even grabbing one, instantly clearing it from their hand/inventory!

/clear @a ender_pearl will keep everyone from being able to pick them up or get them from creative inventory but if students are being allowed to play a survival game and you just want to keep them from pearling past barriers, I believe the /kill @e[type=ender_pearl] will handle that while still allowing them to craft eyes of ender. Or I expect eduelfie to come out with his new classroom management pack for 1.17 very soon, that will include management of this and several other things.
