Why can't I have Custom NPC's like abilities?

Who do I have to talk to to get some sort of dialogue tree like we used to have with Custom NPC's.  What a great Mod that was.  Using titles is just a silly and really unreadable way to get things done?  Do you need people to come work for you to help you with these ideas?  I could make a career switch for sure.

Hi Dominick. My post says you commented but I can't see the comment.

I closed your other duplicate ticket and didn't want to delete your post without having it shown here so I reposted your comment here that's all.

Ok. I was hoping there would be some movement on this. I don't know how teachers are effectively using the education edition without the ability to develop narrative dialog trees. It is truly needed.

Mark Stevens - I can't change MC:EE or anything, of course. I admit that I miss the interaction of event planning in RPG making, with the ability to create multiple paths and interactive conversations with NPCs. But in the meantime, what about addressing the problem from another angle? I don't know exactly what you are trying to do, but this is what I am wondering... I just finished teaching a Choose your own Adventure Minecraft World class. Could you use moving from one place to another as the means of producing the same branching effect? Instead of conversational NPCs, you could have a piece of the conversation, followed by a choice which takes you to a location where you encounter the next question. Just a thought.

Here is a link to what my students did back when we were using MinecraftEDU with the Custom NPC's Mod.

The Volume city and the Greek one were what I want to do now.

I fully agree that the tree dialogue is needed and take away from the Education. Please look into different solutions to assist Mark's idea!
