MakeCode in Code Connection is laggy
Hello,
I am using Python in MakeCode Code Connection with Minecraft w10 edition (Bedrock).
I can run my scripts in Minecraft, but the editor is extremely laggy and it takes way too much time until it lints the code or offers auto-complete suggestions. Could I possibly use another code editor, like VSCode?
Also, I can't find a decent API documentation for the Minecraft Python packages.
Thanks for your suggestions :)
Note: I don't think my PC is that bad... My PC specs are: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-7100U CPU @ 2.40GHz, 8.00 GB RAM, running Windows 10 Home.

Hi Monica Licareti,
Thanks for the feedback!
You can see the Block, JavaScript and Python commands that MakeCode offers in Minecraft here:
https://minecraft.makecode.com/referenceWe took a look and weren't able to encounter the same lag you were reporting with auto-complete suggestions loading. The specs of your computer look good, so that is likely not the issue. All of our coding experiences are dependent on your internet connection, so it's possible that could be a factor in how quickly they were loading for you. And unfortunately, since they are web based, they will always feel more slow than VSCode running locally on your computer.
Thanks for the feedback and please do let us know if you have any other details about the performance issue that could help us investigate further!
