  Hi, sadly due to the different programs that Minecraft: Java and Minecraft: Education edition run on make it impossible to be compatible. Java is programmed with Java and Education Edition and Bedrock Edition (Bedrock and Education are programed with the same Program) are programed with C+, pronounced see-sharp

  Also just so that you aren't confused you cannot join a Bedrock Edition server if your playing Education Edition.
