Creating Minecraft:EE maps without an education accountt

Hi,

I would like to create an interactive learning experience in Minecraft for the school of my children. Is it possible to do that without having an account that is associated with that school (or any school at all) ?

As a computer programmer, I feel like I am in a better position to create these experiences then the teachers themselves since:

a) they are specialized in teaching children as opposed to creating software

b) their jobs ask a lot from them, leaving little to no room for these kind of initiatives

 

Also, I will need to convince them to use Minecraft:EE first. Which is easier if I can provide learning experiences catered to their needs.

Determination of eligibility for obtaining an Office 365 Education account is managed by the Office 365 Education team. We do not have influence or visibility into the qualifications or process.   Thank you for your swift response, I will contact the Office 365 Education team to explore the possibilities.

  Just wonder though, are all those downloadable lessons found here created by teachers or something? Is it possible to contribute lessons for 'regular' people?

  I've had some success creating resources outside of MCEE by using the Retail Java version of Minceraft, creating the world I want to set my lesson in, then converting the Java edition world to a Bedrock edition world using a third-party MBT editor. I found doing that I was then able to import these worlds into the Education Edition. Downside to that though was it required a Retail license. Furthermore you wouldn't be able to create any worlds that use Education-only blocks and items.
