Hi there Josiah Mendez. Could you let me know what platform you're trying to access Minecraft: Education Edition from? Are there any error messages that pop up when you try to run the game? Just let me know.

I am getting the same message. I am using Minecraft Education Edition on an iPad iOS 14.3. MEE app is 1.14.50

It opens the app and immediately adds the message at the top, "Global Resources Reset Resources Failed to load previously". Then is is frozen on this screen and will not allow me to sign in. Cannot do anything but hard close the app.

I deleted the app and reinstalled then it opened my district login page but I was not able to type anything in. Now when I open it, it continues to the screen with the Global Resources message.

Any help with this would be appreciated. I have teachers starting a Minecraft course this coming week and am in need of a fix.

I am also having this issue. However, mine only crashes when I have specific profiles on the device. I am running 14.6. I am working with a school district, which requires a VPN and Global proxy profile, while our application uses a web content filter profile. When all 3 are on the device alone, Minecraft works fine. When all the profiles are on the same device, Minecraft never loads and gives the global resources error.

Im having the exact same problem with a student's M1 Mac that seems to only happen once i install FamilyZone and its VPN/Profile. Why would the whole game freeze if theres something funny going on with the network?

    Tried:

    - Reinstalling MC
    - Removing all cache/data of MC and reinstalling
    - Reinstalling MacOS without Familyzone (works)
    - Reinstalling Familyzone (stops working)

I also took a video of it freezing:

    Hi CHARAN SIDDARAJU

Resource packs are not supported in Minecraft Education Edition.

Most of the ones you'll find online are developed for Bedrock edition and may simply not work. Some can even cause corruptions, world loss, or other issues with the game.

Hi, I am also having the same issue on Minecraft Education 1.17.32 and I have tried downloading several times and reseted my computer. I also even deleted all of my caches but it wont work. I am on a Macbook Pro on MacOS Monterey Version 12.2.1. If you know how to fix this. Please tell me because I need this for a school project.

If you are still using packs or mods, those are still not supported at this time. Ugur, can you clarify what your issue is and provide repo steps that cause the issue?

Thank you Dominick. I'm using Mac (Monterey) and receive the error each time I try to launch Minecraft Education. It works on my another laptop (Microsoft). Same issue happens for one of my friends too. It may have something do do with the OS.

I uninstalled and installed the program a few times but the issue remains. Let me know if you have any further insights. Thank you again.

That would be my guess is to look at the OS and either update the entire OS to a newer version or if on a newer version roll back that OSs version to an earlier build to see if that helps.

Is there an updated solution for this error message?  Getting the same error message as above posts on a Mac OS with MCE version 1.20.

    Hey Jay,

This is a very general error on Mac devices that can have many different causes.
For starters, can you tell me if your device is using a VPN, proxy, or content filter?
Also, what model is the Mac you are using?

    Hi Ernie,
Thanks for helping me with this...our IT dept was stumped by it...

My Macbook is a Macbook Air (M1, 2020 with 16GB) with MacOS Monterey.

Yes we have a VPN and probably content filters, too.  I can't login at school or at home.  Thanks!  Let me know if you need more.

If you are using a VPN, that would make sense that you couldn't sign in at home, as a VPN, creates a tunnel to your school network, essentially making your device think its on the school network.
This is a tough situation though, so give your IT department kudos for trying.
So, we have seen that the M1 - M3 Macs (essentially, Macs using non-Intel processors) seem to not play well with certain security solutions, and I am currently collecting data on this situation.
When possible, could you get the brand names of all of the VPN, proxies, content filters, and firewalls that your organization uses?
