Problem on the Polar Bear Rescue Lesson

Hi, good afternoon. I am teaching my students the Polar Bear Rescue lesson but once I complete the activity 3b Higher Ground, then nothing happens and the little polar bear cannot cross across through the gate to the next stage (next stage shoud be with the family). I think that once the leader of the activity 3b is done by the Agent the ice door should open or similar, but nothing happens. Can you please tell me how should we cross that ice door or if a bug is the problem on the lesson?. Many thanks

  Hi Matías-

  This is a tricky lesson!  Could you post a video of your code running, or a screenshot of your code so we can get a look at what might be preventing your little bear from finding his family?

  One thing to try - the lesson specifies using oak planks to build your tower and it looks like you may have used grass blocks.  Try swapping out grass for oak and see if that works.

  Hi CarrieD. I hope you are doing fine. Thanks for your advice but I need further support because I tried exactly as the lessons states (many times) and nothing happens. Can you please tell me what else to try. You can also tyr and see ithe behaviour?. Maybe it never worked and you have to tell the designer. Please let me know so we can fix and use the lesson.

  Hi Matías Senese-

  I had my testers go through the lesson and it's working as expected, however they acknowledged that this is a particularly tricky activity.  Could you post a screenshot of the code you have entered, and if possible a video of what happens when you run the code?

  I had the same issue -  but redoing the code it appeared to fix it -- I had to be sure to move my agent back 1 - away from the ladder.

  However, now that I am at the family polar bear activity - I am having an issue with the radio not resetting the activity- the planks won't go away when I reset activity - I tried save and exit and then reloading the world but the planks I added before are still present.
