Recording Minecraft World into Flipgrid

When using Flipgrid to record the World in Minecraft, it either doesn't record or it records but there's no audio or video playback in Flipgrid. If I use another application such as Roblox, it records fine. Old worlds were even deleted in Minecraft just in case that was the issue. Please advise. Thank you

    Thanks for reaching out. You said it has worked in the past right? Has Flipgrid had an update that needs to be done? Minecraft: Education Edition also had an update a few weeks ago to 1.14.31. Another thing that may help is to make sure you have no other programs running, sometimes Minecraft can take a lot of resources from the computer which may interfere with Flipgrid's ability to work in the game. Also just curious if you have reached out to Flipgrid and if they had any feedback?

    Thanks Susie for the video. My son is familiar with recording in minecraft using Flipgrid. Flipgrid worked fine for the first 4 minecraft submissions. Starting with the 5th minecraft submission all the way to the present, Flipgrid is at times able to record his minecraft video ,but at the end of the recording Flipgrid doesn't upload the video/audio. There's just a black screen. Other times, Flipgrid starts recording but within 5 seconds it says uh-oh and stops recording. We thought it was because he had too many worlds saved in minecraft but after deleting most of the worlds the same problem still existed. Without recording in minecraft, Flipgrid works perfectly. Im not sure if you have any advice for this type of problem. Thanks

    Can you explain what you mean by "5th submission"? Do you mean the 5th video he is trying to create? Do you by chance know the length of these videos? I believe the max time is 10 minutes.

    Sorry, yes the problem started with the 5th video he created in minecraft while using Flipgrid to record(5th submission to the teacher I was referring to). Each video was 1 minute or less since Flipgrid only allows 1 min and 30 sec of taping. He submits only 1 video at a time to the teacher using Flipgrid. Hopefully this helps . Thank you

    Thanks Adam. The Flipgrid he uses isn't from the actual website. His teacher somehow embedded the Flipgrid in Canvas,which is the application the school uses for the students to work in. I will see if he has the latest version of minecraft and yes he has been diligent with making sure no other applications are up while recording. He even reboots and restarts his computer just to make sure everything is cleared for recording.I reached out to Flipgrid as well, but unfortunately they have an 8 day turn around time for a response.

    Yes, he has shutdown and restarted the computer everytime just to make sure everything is clear before recording. It seems like other students were having problems with minecraft and Flipgrid as well, but I'm not sure what their exact problem was
