Death by fireworks

I have player damage off for my students, gave them fireworks for fun, next minute, death via fireworks...what? Please make it so they can't die this way.

It's a hassle when they die and haven't slept in a bed I need to stop whatever it is I am doing (in the middle of some math rotation working with a different group), and teleport them back into the safe square box I created for them.

Thanks for reaching out and sorry this seems to be a headache for you.

Just making sure you not only have damage turned off but also damage to each other turned off (the symbol with the two swords crossed)? I would also advise turning off destructive items (tnt box) which are found in your classroom mode. You can also set the game's difficulty to peaceful if that would help you.
