Ok so first restart your machine. Then go to the control panel and go to programs and features. Once that window opens scroll down until you see Minecraft Education. Then click on it and uninstall. Make sure before doing this though that you have the right permissions on that device to allow you to reinstall Minecraft Education.

Hi Rhea Malkapuram. I recommend downloading and running the program on this link: Clean Reinstall Minecraft: Education Edition on PC – MEE to do a full uninstall of the app. Then, reinstall the app and it should work.

Minecraft education won't open and it shows a thing that says "the app Minecraft education edition can not open"

Logan Tomchuk Similarly, restarted your device and reinstalling the app would be great first places to start. After that, I'd reach out to your teacher or IT Admin for assistance.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. This sounds like the known bug that many CB users are experiencing. The Dev team and Google have found what the issue is and are working to resolve it. In the meantime, you can try the Beta that was just released to see if that changes the issue at all.

mine does not open on my pc at home and i restarted it about 6 or 7 times it still didint work.

Every time I try to open the game, it opens but it always says "We can't connect to the service you need right now. Please check your internet connection and try again." I don't know how to fix this. Please help me.

How many devices affected?
What make OS version? Make/Model?
Has it worked prior?I would also check to see if there are two versions installed. Multiple versions installed can also be a culprit for this error.
It is also worth checking all the URL's found here ( https://educommunity.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/360047118992-FAQ-IT-Admin-Guide- ) are allowlisted on any virus protection programs or proxies
Finally, if the issue persists, backup your worlds, uninstall, and reinstall from the Windows Store version here: https://aka.ms/downloadmee because less permissions are required to run it.
