I would really like for MEE to support Experimental GamePlay. It would really help me as a Minecraft ModderMany People are asking me to make mods in MEE but every time I test them they don't work. This would really be helpful to add. Also, students could make their own mods which might spice up the game a bit.

Hello Minecraft community, I am a teacher in a school and one of my students is on a project with Minecraft Education. He already used traditional Minecraft as a form of play in his day-to-day life and decided to start in the educational version by his programming feature. However, he wants to develop historical content that goes through different periods of humanity. He knows that there are several types of Mods that modify features and scenarios for different times. I was wondering if it is allowed to put mods in Minecraft Education or if you already have something created that can be used.

Hi there Ivam Lamounier. Mods are not compatible with Minecraft: Education Edition. While some users may have had some success running third party mods with M:EE, we recommend against using these, as they are not vetted by our quality assurance teams and we cannot vouch for the safety of your device should the downloaded mods contain viruses, malware, or other damaging programs. I apologize for the inconvenience here and hope you have a great day!

so i like how it has been almost 3 years and you guys still havent done anything about if you do add these things then can you make it to where there are options for shaders and texture packs so that the kids can just cuztomize how they want it to look so that it peaks there interest during a lesson so could you please just add that option for free downloadable shaders because i also get a lot of complaints in my class about it

    Hello,

MEE is a great tool and resource !

    My wishlist:

More skin options and a skin editor would be great, so that the students could customize the characters, to look like themself.

Also an official channel where we could download Texture packs and Shader packs for MEE. Depending on the type lesson it would be helpful to change the look of the game with textures. If the channel/ page is supported it would be "safe" for the users.

you can do it by going to skindex and opening a new tab called minecraft skin compiler and pick a skin you want of skindex and download and go to skin compiler and putting the skin file in and the verson number is 1.0 and then just name the file then show in folder and then double click the new file BOOM

You Can Add Custom Skins To Minecraft: Education Edition. Just Go To The Skindex and cdsmythes website.

    This Will Help.

Yeah sure I bet that you're not even the real person and this is just an autoreply because it's been 2 YEARS and there are still none of your promised features. Don't just say you'll do something and then not care enough to actually do it. So many students want custom skins and features and you say that you're going to add them, but you're too lazy to actually do it. I don't know if you've ever played Java minecraft, but it's infinitly better than education edition already so the LEAST you could do is hear us out and fufill your promises.

It is NOT an autoreply, I know it has been like three years, but they DIDN'T promise, Kyle just had said he would add something to someone's post, that's all he said. If you look in other posts in the community you will see that there are many posts realted to custom skins, and if you look at those posts and look at certain comments from the Minecraft Education team or whatever, you will see what I am kinda trying to make a point out of. They don't allow the feature because it allows players to create something not appropriate for school, too wild, innapropriate all together, etc.

I know where to get free skins it’s in mcpedl.com

That doesn't work for Edu! It will sereously slowly start to break the game and then the game will crash, eventually it makes the computer crash. I'm just trying to give you safer ways to do it.
