A question from a student in my class can we add mods or add ons to Minecraft education edition?

  Apparently, mods are not supported in Education Edition. They can, however, be installed to the normal version of Minecraft, Java Edition. This page answers the question. https://education.minecraft.net/faq/mods

  There Is no modding API for MC:EE there is only Forge for Java
  and some Behavior Packs for Bedrock Edition
