It seems some worlds that worked on the previous version are now crashing on load.

If I create a new world, no crash.

Full screen still does not work properly on first toggle. When turned on, the windows taskbar does not hide and Minecraft's aspect ratio gets all screwed up.

Minimizing or alt tabbing the game to long causes it to reload, so players in a hosted world loose progress.

Auto-opening worlds on import is inconvenient, as I have to go out to turn of code builder.

Sometimes /remove player.Agent does not work. You can only remove the Player.

There should be a way to only block above border blocks.

When in a menu, such as ESC or the chat, even with immediate respawn on - players don't fully register as dead. This causes some of our worlds to break if a player leaves the computer or is doing something else.

(suggestion) Some of the kids we work with can't read / have a disability, so the "play, Host and Settings" should look different when opening a world.

(suggestion) Code builder should be off by default.

(suggestion) TEACHERS SHOULD BE ABLE TO SEE ALL WORLDS (like the old version) WITH OR WITHOUT JOIN CODE

    Thanks for reading :)

Thank you Slayde! Can you please send us a world that is crashing? We want to see what is going on here. You can submit a request and send it as an attachment. Thanks!

    Sure thing.

    Also -

    [Installation issues]

Sometimes the update uninstalls the game and does not reinstall until done manually.

Sometimes the admin prompt shows up minimized.

(BIG ISSUE) Some computers on the new update say "Can't connect to the required service right now" (Windows 10, desktop edition)

    ^^^^^^^

Kyle was correct. Make sure 2 editions are not installed. For us, for some reason the store version was installed on some computers. Make sure to uninstall it.

Thanks Slayde. As for the big issue this sounds to me like there are two instances of M:EE on the machine. We can troublshoot further on your ticket. Thanks!

I'm having the sign in issue as well.  The Store version of M:EE isn't installed (though code connection is).  It has previously been installed, but I've since removed it.  I have also removed the 'regular' Minecraft store app, just in case.  I still can't stop the 'unable to sign in' message.

Is there a log file or something I can review?

    Hi David-

This article describes the main scenario that causes this error, which is that sometimes the Store version doesn't uninstall correctly before the Desktop version is installed:  https://minecrafteducation.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360026424472-Transitioning-to-the-desktop-application-for-Minecraft-Education-Edition

There is a link to an uninstaller tool that will clean up any files left behind from previous installs.  After running it, try downloading the beta version again.

Let us know how it goes!
