Code Connection stopped working after Minecraft for Win10 update to version 1.14

After Minecraft for Win10 updated to version 1.14 I'm unable to connect to Code Connection (v 1.50). On computer where Minecraft was not updated everything still works fine.

Please support. Is it a bug? Is there any fix or workaround?

    I've just started trying to teach my son coding through minecraft for windows (bedrock 1.14.9.0, not education), and I'm running into the same issue, it can't connect to Code Connection. Tried running CC as admin, enable loopback on both Minecraft and CC, disable the firewall... no luck.

    I don't think there's a way to downgrade Minecraft or Code Connection to get to a working pair, I don't have access to Minecraft Education Edition, I'm out of ideas.

    Same problem here.

    Microsoft point me to this web with the following comment:

     

    "This looks to be a bug in latest Minecraft Windows 10 edition and Minecraft team is looking into this."

     

    They are working on it.

    This is definitely a bug in Minecraft Win10 Bedrock 1.14.x. 1.13.x used to work. Then one of my PCs got auto updated to 1.14 and it stopped working. Same Code Connection 1.50 worked with 1.13 and not with 1.14. Can't be a Code Connection bug. Of course rest of PCs got updated to 1.14.x

    Please release a fix soon!

    windows10 1909 home edition, minecraft bedrock windows10 1.14, code connection 1.50, show :"connect server .....", but code connection can't work, can't open makecode option as normal. 1.13 have no problem. please check the bug, otherwise my son can't program the best game in the world, he is sad

    Same problem. Now I have free time to learn programming with my child but suddenly code connection is not working enymore with minecraft.

    Can you provide link to old working version?

    Also having same issue. anyone worked out how to fix this? was looking to teach my daughter some programming basics while on holidays and nothing is working.

    I was so excited to discover MakeCode for Minecraft and share it with my robotics students... but I'm also having this problem where Code Connection doesn't switch to the menu of editors as seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myx_lG-srHc&t=109s

    My son was excited to start to learn coding with Minecraft (as he got own computer on xmas)

    ...the disappointment, as he couldn't.

    Any insights, when we could get the fix and start to learn coding again?

    Same or similar problem here. I got started with my kid coding. Worked though a few of the tutorials with them... tried again after Christmas and just assumed it was my VPN and I would try again later.

    With no VPN running im getting the same results. Now code connect appears to connect in Minecraft but the options to choose your editor never come up on Code Connect app. It just sits there on the copy and paste screen.

    Really disappointing while I attempt to turn my kids into little coding nerds like I was at their age.

    Is this issue resolved yet. I downloaded Minecraft Windows 10 v1.16. The Code Connector is not connecting. I have tried everything and nothing has been fixed. My Son created a number of projects in Makecode.com and can't use it in Minecraft. I am really surprised to see so many complaints and nothing has been done to fix it yet.
