Allow all Microsoft 365 users to access Minecraft education edition
My daughter is 10, and her school district does not use Microsoft 365, so she does not have access to Minecraft education through her school. I would like to teach her computing while homeschooling her during the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic, but we have no way to access the content other than the demo lessons.
It would be great if I could add Samantha to my personal Microsoft 365 account, so that we could both access all of the content.
I don't believe that this would remove the incentive for school districts to enroll in Microsoft 365, since not all students would be in families with Office 365 subscriptions. However, were people to be able to access Minecraft education through their personal subscriptions, it would increase the pool of users who are familiar with and can advocate for the content, and also provide added value to Office 365 users.

Hi Peter -
If your daughter's school does not have access to an Office 365 Education account there are many other educational opportunities using the Minecraft Bedrock and Java editions. The Minecraft Franchise recently released a collection of free Educational worlds that can be accessed on the Bedrock version of Minecraft: https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/article/free-educational-content-minecraft-marketplace-
We've also created a guide to explore Learning with Minecraft Bedrock and Java. This guide has information about educational activities in the consumer versions of Minecraft, including coding in Minecraft, Chemistry, Minecraft challenges and more. Please check this guide again in the near future as we'll be updating our guides with new resources.
We do understand how important it is to make Minecraft: Education Edition available to everyone, and are actively investigating what types of new subscription models we can offer. We hope to have more news about this in the future.0
