1.19.52 Installation problem
So my friends and i used to play and learn together along time ago in Minecraft Education Edition. I heard about the new 1.19.52 Update and i was so hyped! My friends told me to update my Minecraft Education Edition but when i tried to re-download it, it sadly did not work. I started up the .exe file (wizard) And i got an error. It said: The file 'updater.exe' is not marked for installation. I was so confused and tried it multiple times but it ended up not working. I was super confused.By the way, Is 1.19.52 Minecraft Education Edition available on Windows 8.1 Pro? Because it might have something to do with it. have a fantastic day!

Thanks for the screenshots, sorry to hear you are running into some issues.
Let's try to install the Window's store version instead to see if that helps.
1 - Get rid of all install packages on your device.
2- Backup all your worlds
3 - Uninstall all versions of Minecraft Education from the device
4 - Reinstall from here: https://aka.ms/downloadmee

Hey Danny, it sadly did not work. I am on Windows 8.1 Pro, which is probably why i can't find the Minecraft Education Edition store version. I even tried clicking on the link but it did not help.

Try downloading the installer from our main website here: Download | Minecraft Education and then run that installer as an administrator. Right click the file and do run as administrator and see if that removes the error message.
