Downloaded a fresh copy today, and it's still happening.

Thank you for providing this screenshot and the video. With these items I pinged the Devs, and a report has been created. They will first run tests and hopefully isolate the issue. Then they will resolve it and publish that new build for users.

  • I'm having the same issue as above. What do you suggest?

I'm not sure. Indigenous History Month starts in two days, and we really want to run it as a workshop, but not if it's still borked. I haven't found a workaround yet.

    Hey all!

Sorry to hear you are running into some issues with the bison.

To fix the issue, Player needs to place slabs or stairs next to full blocks. This is required, because bison do not jump when in front of blocks. That is the best workaround at this time.

Let us know how that goes!

  • Hi Danny, Thanks for the swift response. I'll get the students to try that this afternoon. One is staying they did try that but then the game doesn't recognize that they did the bison hunt and continues to prompt them to complete it. I'll follow through with this student and see if your suggested workaround gets the job done. Stay tuned! :)

    Hi Danny

They were jumping up two tiers of full blocks just fine, it was the third one that was hanging them up.

I tried the slab trick, and they still bottlenecked at the third jump, but sorted themselves out eventually and the game finally progressed. Hooray!

Is it possible for the devs to place the slabs and update the world in the library?  If you trust me to have done it right, you're welcome to use this fixed version if the devs don't have time to do it themselves -- t's back in adventure mode and reset at the world start with the original inventory. I'm just worried that if I show 3000+ kids how to change their game to creative mode during a workshop, they're never going to change back again.  (I know I could technically share this fixed world for students to use, but getting all the kids to find the world in the library is hard enough; getting them to download and import a world file inevitably results in most of my workshop being troubleshooting how to get the world file onto various and sundry devices)

It's also, and I can't emphasize this enough, REALLY important to have one of the best, most authentic Indigenous-produced worlds ready-to-play in the library for Indigenous History Month (June). It's still broken for anyone who doesn't know to come ask about the issue on the forums or the teacher lounge (and even if they do, it's going to cause a huge disruption in the lesson while they get it sorted).

    Hey all!

Jason - Sounds good, thanks for the info! Looking forward to hearing how it goes!

Sarah - Glad it ended up working for you! It is important to us that you have the worlds you need when you need them, so we are able to provide workarounds, but unfortunately no ETAs on when the devs can fix the actual worlds.

I appreciate your support in this as well!
