Timeout session
Hello,
We would like to open a session for our students available 24 hours a day so they can work outside of class on their projects. Does a Minecraft Education session have a time limit ?

I've never run into a time limit and I've left the servers open for an entire school day or slightly longer.
The issue you may run into is that Minecraft Education is not really designed to run as a server like Java or Bedrock can do. If the program crashes on the machine running the server or the computer goes to sleep, everyone will be disconncted and Minecraft will not restart the server automatically like it can be set to do in Java or even Bedrock.
There is a raging debate going on about whether or not Minecraft education edition should have a dedicated server feature available. As of right now, it is really designed to be hosted by an educator or by students running the program.
