Major glitches

I am using MCEE with students and there are many glitches occuring. We are using MacBooks Airs. The world lags, students are unable to access the inventory, and when I execute the teleport command, students are not being teleported.

  A simple restart of the computers has fixed all the issues I outlined in my original post. Thank you for your help and attention to this matter.
