Crashing after 15 mins in Infinite World: Minecraft Education Edition
Hi,
My son has been playing Minecraft Education Edition, exclusively flat worlds without issues. Today, he started experimenting with infinite worlds. Under infinite worlds, the game closes up on us consistently, after about 10-15 mins of playtime. We don't get any errors, nor warnings. Happens under both creative and survival modes. Regular Minecraft (non Education Edition) works fine. I tried reducing the resolution down to 1080p, same issue.
Where can I find crash logs for you guys?

Hey there Lutian!
Sorry to hear about the crashes.
What kind of device make and model are you on? What OS version is it?
Is this a personal device or a school managed one? Are you only working off a home network or a school network as well?

You might also look at turning down render distance
in the video settings and perhaps also the simulation distance in game settings to see if that has an effect.0 -
Thank you for your replies!
We tested Aleece's suggestion of turning down the render distance and anti-aliasing and it worked!
Not sure why were the render distance and the anti-aliasing set so high...
Anyway, thanks again!

Wow! Render distance can make a difference but that's a HUGE difference. Good call, Aleece Landis!

I've simply seen a few other posts (especially with people on computers with higher end graphics cards) where for some reason the graphics card seems to cause Minecraft to set the render distance to Max which will cause the game to crash or freeze and they found turning the render distance back down fixed it.
Just being a parrot basically.0
