Share to Microsoft Teams in Minecraft: Education Edition
With our latest release of Minecraft: Education Edition (1.14.31) Teachers now have the ability to share worlds and lessons with their students to Microsoft Teams. This process allows for teachers to browse all the great content in our in-game library and share to their students in Microsoft Teams in a fast and exciting way!
The below share to Teams or Google Classroom features are only supported on Windows 10 and Chromebook platforms. iPad and macOS users can still use the copy and paste URL feature.
Check out the steps below:
The teacher chooses a lesson from the Library in Minecraft: Education Edition and clicks "Share Link" to share to Teams.
The teacher can create an assignment or share to a person, group, or channel.
Students access the assignment in Teams and click the link to open the lesson world.
The browser opens and offers to launch Minecraft: Education Edition. If Minecraft is not installed, the student can download, install, and try opening the world again.
Educators can also share or assign lessons from http://education.minecraft.net with the new Teams and Classroom integration.
