How to Set Up an Account and Profile in the Community Hub
In order to participate in the Community Hub, you'll first need to create an account. Note: this account will NOT allow you to sign into Minecraft: Education Edition unless you are signing up using an existing Office 365 Education account.
Sign In
1) Click the Sign in link at the top right of the page.
2) Click the Create one now! link a the bottom of the page. If you aren't sure whether you have created an account in the system, you can try to to sign in first by selecting one of the login options.
Note: Office 365 is the account you use to sign into your school or business and Minecraft: Education Edition. Microsoft is a free account such as outlook.com, hotmail.com or xbox.com (Learn how to Create a Microsoft Account)
3) Select one of the two options to create an account on the website using your existing credentials.
4) Accept the Terms and Conditions of the site
5) Fill out the profile fields and click Save
6) Once you're back on the community hub site, you'll see your name and profile photo on the top right. Click on it, and you'll see "My Activities," "My Profile", and "Sign Out."
My Activities
This is your home base for all the activities on the Community Hub. You'll see an area for Requests, Posts, Comments, and Following. "Requests" are your support tickets, "Posts" are community posts you've created, "Comments" are comments you've added to posts or article pages, and "Following" shows the community members, forums, pages or other resources you've chosen to follow. When you Follow a site resource such as a forum or person. You'll receive email updates when there is new activity.
My Profile
My Profile shows your name, profile photo, last activity, how many community members you're following, how many are following you, how many votes you have, and how many subscriptions (follows) you have.
Below, you'll see any of your contributions, posts, and comments.
NOTE: You cannot change your profile picture from the below "edit profile" you need to navigate back to Minecraft Education Edition home page and you can edit there.
Submit a Request
If you've searched the site and used the forums and can't find your answer, or have a unique technical issue, you can submit a request to the Support desk. Fill out and submit the request form, and you'll receive an email back.
How to Edit your Profile
You can edit your Profile on the Minecraft Education Edition Profile page. Click on the Minecraft: Education Edition Home link at the top of any Community Hub page, and then click on your name at the top right of the Minecraft Education Edition home page.
Select My Profile to access your profile page. Scroll down and click the Edit Profile button. Update all of the fields you would like to change, and then make sure to scroll all the way to the bottom and click the Update Profile button.
Change a Profile Picture
Click Upload a Photo next to your name and then select an image to upload. Make sure your image is at least 300 X 300 pixels.
After you select your image click Save in the Select Avatar window, and then make sure to scroll to the bottom of the profile page and click the Update Profile button.
How to Access your Saved Lessons
You can find your saved lessons on the Minecraft Education Edition My Dashboard page. Click on the Minecraft: Education Edition Home link at the top of any Community Hub page, and then click on your name at the top right of the Minecraft Education Edition home page.
Select Resources to access your Dashboard, where you'll see your Resources such as liked Lessons.
