Platform-specific guidance for Minecraft: Education Edition
Getting started with Minecraft: Education Edition is not very different across different platforms. The primary difference between the Windows, macOS, Chromebook and iOS versions is how the app is downloaded, installed and/or deployed. macOS users must download the client from our website (Windows users can download from the Store for Education as well as our site). iOS users must download the game from the App store. (Note that the iOS version is available for iPad only). Chromebook users must download from the Google Play store.
